We love what we do

Enotria's roots trace back to the passion of our founder, Remo Nardone, whose love for wine and the hospitality industry propelled him to establish our company. After migrating from Italy to Britain, Remo's success in hospitality fuelled his vision for Enotria. He built his business on a steadfast commitment to serving the industry with a customer-centric ethos that remained at the core of our values, even as we expanded our scope beyond the on-trade to cater to the broader drinks industry in the UK. Remo's deep affinity for wine led him to forge strong bonds with our suppliers, instilling in Enotria a sense of attachment and pride in showcasing their products as if they were our own. This pride and passion serve as powerful motivators for us, driving us to work towards meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations. They also inspire us to strive for a more nurturing and vibrant work environment – an environment where everyone’s accomplishments are celebrated, and challenges are embraced as valuable learning opportunities. We recognise that developing such an atmosphere is beneficial not only for the well-being of everyone within the Enotria&Coe team, but for our customers and suppliers, too. By actively working to achieve a culture of appreciation and support, we aim to create a ripple effect that enriches all aspects of our business relationships, promoting mutual trust, collaboration, and ultimately, success.

We empower people to find solutions

Our working culture is one of striving to empower rather than instruct. We value development and do all we can to ensure our staff have the necessary tools and skills to excel in their roles, fostering a sense of trust that they will make informed decisions. Within this environment, we actively encourage the sharing of fresh ideas from every corner of our organisation. The VITIS project for instance, which we launched last year, empowered a group of staff from across Enotria&Coe to engage with all teams and to develop our values and behaviours which will help to map our future trajectory. We always take full accountability for our actions and view challenges and obstacles as valuable learning opportunities.

At Enotria&Coe we value continuous improvement in everything we do. We encourage staff to be accountable and take responsibility for their work and the systems and processes they use, to identify and address issues promptly, wherever possible. Doing this helps to develop a robust system of continuous communication among our team members and across various departments, which is key to delivering a great customer experience. We emphasise face-to-face, inclusive, and transparent dialogue at work as we know the benefits this can bring. It can greatly enhance our business and customers by fostering swift responsiveness to challenges through proactive sharing of information both internally and externally as soon as issues arise. This ensures that all stakeholders are well-informed and can collaborate effectively to find solutions. We are committed to making this communication strategy a central part of our operational framework to streamline our processes further and enhance our meticulous attention to detail in daily operations.
