Part of a stunning new range from Eduardo Eguren, Los Yelsones comes from a 1970 vineyard at 550 metres in the La Rad cru of San Vicente and is heavily marked by the high percentage of calcium carbonate in the soils. Wonderfully perfumed and alluring, with rose petal and wild thyme aromas, toasty oak, dense yet well balanced dark berry fruit and a mineral-edged finish. 2025-32
soulful and refined Rioja with very polished tannins and spiced berry flavours. Pure and precise with a heap of fresh red berries and chalky tannins on the palate. Long, precise and juicy. Drink or hold.
