Viticulture
From Andes-fed irrigation to rocky soil, our grapes thrive in 22°C temperature shifts, 120mm rain, 15% humidity, and 350 sun-soaked days. Expect uniquely concentrated, fruity wines.
Vinification
Altimus, El Esteco's signature wine, is a unique blend crafted by winemaker Alejandro Pepa.The estate's finest grapes are hand-harvested & sorted. Varietals are vinified separately, fermented in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged in French barrels for 12 months, blended & aged 6 more months. Unfiltered and un-fined.
