Tasting note
Orange-tinted aromatic Austrian white, bursting with apricot, peach and juicy Braeburn apple, with a nice lemony waft of citra hops.
Viticulture
Sourced from Machherndl's spectacular terraced vineyards in the Wachau. The approach is hands-off, with no irrigation or added fertiliser used. Certified Organic farming.
Vinification
Erich Machherndl's Pulp Fiction No. 7: A daring blend of Frühroter Veltliner, Muscat, and Weissburgunder. Fermented on skins in oak for flavor, body, and a hint of orange. Unfiltered, no added sulfur. Break the rules with this unique white wine.
Food Match
This is so fresh and floral that it is one of the few wines that truly pairs really well with Indian-style curries. It can also stand up to citrus salads. Delicious to drink on its own or during a picnic.
