Tasting note
A superbly elegant wine, with complex yet vibrant notes of peach, apricot, golden apple, lemon peel, blanched almond and meadow flowers. Upon taking a sip, the first impression is of well-rounded, supple texture, offset by fine crispness and a creamy mousse. The lingering impression reflects the nose: citrus, apple, almond. Very refreshing, long finish.
Viticulture
Gramona, steeped in history, renowned for extended lees aging, born from the need to protect cellars during the Civil War. Committed to biodynamics, they integrate livestock and cover crops for soil balance. Artisanally crafted, their wines age over 5 years on cork, undergoing manual riddling and disgorging—each bottle bears a chalk mark from the process.
Vinification
Crafted from 45% Xarel.lo, 45% Macabeo, and 10% Parellada, this wine is certified organic by CCPAE. We oversee every stage from vine to bottle, hand-picking grapes, sorting on a belt, and using gravity-fed pressing. Aged over 30 months on lees in our cellar for a refined sparkling wine.
