Tasting note
Old vine Pinot Noir from the far south of South America, full of cherry and walnut, with a wisp of smoke curling into the nostrils.
Viticulture
Vineyards are located at Finca Los Borregos. Own vineyards dating from 1969 located in General Roca, Alto Valle de Río Negro, Patagonia. Harvest date is from the end of March to the first week of April. Carefully harvested by hand and immediately sent to the winery, just 1km from the vineyard.
Vinification
Grapes are received in small containers and whole bunches are selected before being destemmed: a cold maceration 48-72 hs occurs. Fermentation at 23-25ºC in cement tanks for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation, aged 10 months in used oak barrels. Bottled, aged 6 months before sale.

Chinese style tea smoked duck is a fabulous match for this Pinot Noir.
