Cool googy climate matched by sandy laom and gravelly clay loam make this vineyard ideal fro growing cool climate varieties.
Vinification
Hand-picked grapes, 2 two-day cold soak for color extraction. Separated free juice settles before malolactic. 8 months in French and American oak (25% new, 75% old) for seamless integration. Sur lie aging for a soft mouthfeel. Majority racked in March, forming the base before returning to barrel. Vanilla and caramel aromas, hints of toast and roasted nuts.
