Fruity South African Chardonnay, complex and rich, flavoured with melon, tropical fruit and a dollop of butterscotch, offset by refreshing, juicy citrus notes.
Viticulture
Sourced from two vineyards in the Agter-Paarl region.
Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes at full ripeness undergo pressing and settling. The must is inoculated with South African yeast. 15% ferments in small American oak barrels, while the rest ferments in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, all the wine rests on lees in stainless steel tanks for 5 months with regular stirring. Fined and filtered before bottling.
