Tasting note
Intense gold, Satèn initially releases notes of mandarin and candied ginger, only to quickly reveal a majestic and deep personality, scents of butter,caramel and macadamia nut, with a shimmering hint of fresh tropical fruit. Creamy and beguiling, it continues to evolve in the glass, showing a radiant personality.
Vinification
Membrane press for 1st and 2nd pressings. After 12hrs settling, yeast inoculation, cool-fermentation in steel and barrels. Partial malolactic fermentation, racking, Cuvée assembly. In spring, liqueur de tirage, crowned, aged for 36 months, riddled, sediment removed, Brut-style liqueur, corked, and wired. Franciacorta rests three months before release.
