Bright, uncomplicated rosé made equally from Sicily's Nero d'Avola and Syrah, with traces of rose petals, pomegranates and strawberries.
Viticulture
Vines of Syrah and Nero d'Avola are trained with the vertical trellis cordon spur system with a density of 5000 plants per hectare.
Vinification
The Syrah grapes come from the Planeta family's Dispensa winery and are harvested slightly earlier than usual. The grapes are destemmed and soft crushed after 4-5 hours of maceration in the press; the juice is clarified through cold settling overnight and then inoculated with selected pure yeast. Fermentation and ageing in stainless steel vessels.
Food Match
This versatile wine shines as an aperitif, with light pastas, and even fruit. Perfect with grouper, spaghetti alla Norma, octopus salad, fresh tuna pasta, seafood, oysters, swordfish, sushi, Nebrodi pork salami, and hard 'tuma' cheese.
