Tasting note
Packed with Barossa Shiraz richness, this wine bursts with flavors of plums, black fruits, and warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and 5 spice. Mid-palate sweetness, hints of mocha, and black olive enhance the experience. Soft tannins integrate, while subtle oak allows rich dark fruit to shine. A fantastic, value-packed expression of Barossa Valley Shiraz.
Viticulture
Sourced from sixth generation vignerons, the Riebke family vineyards are located in the Northen Barossa district of Ebenezer. The vines have an average age of 35 years, and are predominantly grown on dark loam soils and are known to produce rich juicy fruit flavours.
Vinification
Source blocks are harvested separately and fermented in a range of open fermenters. Pumped over by hand twice daily, the ferments are pressed to tank after 5 to 7 days on skins then racked to seasoned oak for 12 months prior to careful blending and bottling.
Food Match
Fruity and generous, this wine is suited to a wide range of dishes or can simply be enjoyed by the glass with friends.
