Tasting note
The bubbly white wine, affectionately known as Gerald, is made with handpicked Bacchus (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) grapes from Surrey. Dry, refreshing and reminiscent of a wild orchard somewhere – Gerald is fizzing with notes of elderflower, pear and freshly cut grass.
Vinification
Whole berry pressing, temperature controlled fermentation at 15.5 ° C, bentonite fining, cross flow filtration.
