Tasting note
The top cuvée of a great estate, this has nuts and lime, richness yet a backbone of steel.
Viticulture
For 13 generations, Trimbach's purist vision has produced celebrated wines. Personally overseeing every step, from planting to bottling, they create structured, balanced, and long-lived wines. Dating back to 1626, the family's viticultural origin thrives in Alsatian microclimate. Cuvée Frédéric Émile, their signature dry Riesling, emerged in the 1960s.
Vinification
Hand-picked grapes for maximum ripeness, gentle pressing in pneumatic press. Gravity-fed juice clarifies naturally before 3-4 week stainless steel fermentation to dryness. Oak-ageing avoided for pure, concentrated fruit. Riesling « Cuvée Frédéric Emile » matures 3-5 years and can age 15+ years.
Food Match
Delicious with fish, poultry and veal. Great with lobster as well.Traditionally served in Alsace with goose and pork and Alsacian meats.
