Ethical Working

At Enotria&Coe, we champion diversity and inclusion with our initiatives promoting an inclusive workplace as well as prioritising ethical marketing and robust cybersecurity

Duty of care

Diversity & inclusion

An inclusive workforce fosters higher levels of engagement, commitment, and loyalty among employees, as they feel valued and respected for their perspectives, cultures, and beliefs. This is why, at Enotria&Coe, we value an inclusive workplace environment and encourage this across all departments. Our warehouse reflects a rich cultural diversity, while our offices buzz with the daily exchange of multiple languages. This diversity mirrors not only the vibrant human tapestry of the UK drinks industry, but also the global reach of our portfolio and the diversity of our trusted suppliers.

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion extends beyond recruitment; it is an ongoing endeavour. To support this mission, we are establishing an internal Diversity & Inclusion committee dedicated to ensuring that every member of our staff feels included and represented. We demonstrate our support to them through various initiatives, such as organising events like our own Gay Pride and celebrations tied to different religious observances. Our Duty of Care initiatives also encompass tangible, monitoring efforts, including our annual Gender Pay Gap Report, which we use as a tool to drive meaningful change and address any disparities.

Ethical marketing & sales practices

Ensuring ethical marketing and sales practices throughout our operations requires a multifaceted approach. Internally, we prioritise employee training on security, privacy, and anti-slavery practices. We regularly review our policies and procedures to mitigate the risk of bribery and corruption and continually assess the structure of our business for ethical alignment. Externally, we uphold responsible consumption of alcohol as a priority, given our business’ focus on trading alcoholic beverages. We actively support organisations like Drinkaware through digital promotion and advocate responsible drinking at all company events and trips, always providing low and no-alcohol options.

To further promote ethical practices, we are signatories to the Portman Group, the UK’s leading social responsibility body and regulator for alcohol labelling, packaging, and promotion. Additionally, we adhere to the Challenge 25 policy for all deliveries, ensuring age verification to prevent underage alcohol consumption.

Cybersecurity & privacy

At Entoria&Coe, we prioritise the security and privacy of both our customers' and employees' data, maintaining an extensive cybersecurity infrastructure that exceeds industry standards. Our dedicated IT team is knowledgeable in the platforms essential to our daily business operations. To bolster our cybersecurity measures, we implement a range of preventive strategies, including multi-factor authentication, and regularly review our security posture and maturity assessment.

We have a solid security foundation and utilize advanced tools for threat prevention, detection, intelligence, and response. Our strong governance framework ensures that these measures are consistently applied and effective. By integrating these robust measures, we ensure that the security and privacy of our data are rigorously protected.
